So I have 2012 si and I'm doing 2013 dash swap. Hardest part is getting the reinforcement bar to attach back to the dash. Pretty easy getting it out. I have more plans and have all the parts. Just waiting on a few things and the weather to change. Also have my eye set on a s2k, wish me luck.

A 2013 dash on a 2012 would look pretty cool.

Would love to see the end result. If you don't mind me asking, how much was everything?

Mostly trim differences. The '12 dash is really plain.

    A '13 dash in a '12 should look perfectly normal, as in a from-the-factory '13.

I couldn't pass up the deal on this car. The dash on the 12 started to bug me. Plus it's a pain to take apart compared to the 13 dash. The intention is put the 13 navigation in. I just like the trip pieces and the simple it is working on a 13 dash. I'm kicking myself now because I originally wanted to do the 14 display and was told it can't be done but I just found a dyi on here that it can be done. I really like the 2012 front end and rear end. Im toying with modding the rear end with 13 hybrid taillights, only the outters tailights. So I'd need just 13 bumper and drill some wholes and cut a few pieces in the original taillight mount on the rear end.

Dash panel 220$ with all trim pieces
    With reinforcement bar
Si carbine fiber trim oem ebay 40$
Si carbon fiber navi ebay $400
Si navigation wiring kit 300$ includes back up camera

Keep in mind I was lucky and got mint condition used parts

Also installing push button start and I just finished installing hybrid mirrors

you still haven't driven this car since you bought it ? haha

2012 is 200lbs lighter & many forum members (include me) prefer the simpler exterior styling of a 2012 sedan.
