The design of this grille looks like the JDM Mugen grille for the 8th gen Civic in Asia, but it is custom made for the USDM 9th gen Civic in North America, anyone has purchased it, please post pictures to share.
What is it made out of?
It looks nice, but it may just throw the car off.
I've got a RR coupe with black wheels & taillights. I recently plastidipped my emblems black and I love this look!
Could you still attach an Si badge to the front of it?
Go here: Honda Civic 2012-2013 Coupe Mesh Grille - C-mod Grilles and pay $100USD and however much they charge for shipping to wherever you live. Wait until package arrives. Install. Take pictures and say "neener, neener, neener." I'm on day two of waiting for my grilles to arrive.

Man, I wish I had clicked on that "More information" link. Oh well. I missed the part where I would have to drill holes to make it fit. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow or Monday.
I'm still waiting for mine. I missed the part where they get flown to he States from China. The website says shipping takes 1-2 weeks and I'm about 1.5 weeks right now. I'll drill holes, install, then take pictures and post them to help everyone else in their decision making process once it gets here.
Placed order August 09. Grille leaves Hong Kong on August 10 and arrives in Los Angeles August 13 then takes until August 20 to clear Customs and make it 400 miles east to Arizona. I looked at the stock grille really quick this morning and realized I'll have to pull the bumper to get to some clips on the bottom of the grille.
Update: after unclipping a bajillion clips, pulling the bumper, removing (breaking) four more hidden clips on the bottom of the stock grille, removing stock grille, drilling four holes, mounting bottom part of grille to bumper, replacing bumper, drilling four more holes to mount top of grill to bumper/frame, and getting fiberglass dust all over, this is what the end result looks like...
You probably shouldn't have little kids around during the 2.5 hours it will take you to do this because you're going to be swearing a lot. Not at the fit of the grill (because it requires very little to no modification other than drilling holes for mounting clips/bolts), but because you're going to be cursing the Honda engineers for thinking they're Volkswagen engineers and hiding clips.

Emblem won't stay on because the adhesive probably won't stick to mesh all that well. I was thinking about getting a DC5 front emblem assembly and seeing if that would work of I ground some of the curved part down in the back. The Si badge? I don't want to talk about it. I would suggest that you try remounting it befooooore you put the bumper back on. It would have made it a lot easier. The Si badge has two screws in the back that go through a mounting plate to hold it on the back side of the grille. The screws go through and screw into the badge. I might get around to putting it back on one of these days.
I was e-mailing a former member of this site and came up with the idea of getting two small pieces of sheet metal from Home Depot/Lowes/etc and drilling four holes in them then mount one in front of the grill and one behind it then ziptie them together and put the H emblem on top of the sheet metal. As far as the Si emblem, I'm going to get some sort of mesh for the Si and my Fit so I'll be pulling the bumper and can mount the Si emblem when I do the lower grille mesh too.
I was lazy last weekend. Maybe this weekend. But then again, that was what I've been saying since October about the Civic emblem overlay and I still haven't put mine on yet.
The crap?! Really? I just got 10% off my order because I bought the grille, installed it, and sent them pictures and now EVeryone gets 10% off? Oh well... If you do decide to get one just remember you're going to need a drill or something to put a hole in some solid plastic because there are no holes pre-drilled in it.
