Left = real / Right = fake

First off on the front of the boxes you can clearly see that the fake box does not have the "neo chro" sticker on the top right.

left= real / Right = fake

Next you can see that the bar code on the real box is smaller (square shaped), and the fake bar code is larger (rectangular shaped).

Left = real / Right = fake

Here you can see on the real key socket there is a identification number indication which key you have, the fake key has nothing.

Top = real / Bottom = fake

Here is where you can really tell the difference between real vs fake, the real lugs have more of a darker blue purple color, the fakes have a brighter yellowish color.

Left = real / Right = fake

Lastly its kinda hard to see from the picture but the tops of the real lugs are kinda tapered, the fake has a more squarded shape.

So, I bought an LX Sedan and had to get the automatic because my wife sometimes drives it. :shrug: Today... Whoops, the Title should read D3 gear.
So, I bought an LX Sedan and had to get the automatic because my wife sometimes drives it. :shrug:
Today I put it it in the D3 gear and noticed the car had much more spark to it, especially from a stop. I watched the tachometer closely to make sure the revs didn't get too high, but to my surprise they remained quite low (3500 - 4000) even when I was getting up to 100 km/hr (about 50 mph) at that point I shifted back into D. I know I will burn more gas doing this, but, at the moment, it's so much fun.

Can anyone explain to me if it is okay for me to boot around in D3 all the time (until I get to highway speeds of course)? Are there any dangers of doing this? What exactly are the D3 , 2 and 1 gears for other than going up very steep hills?
