DIY: Door Panel Removal on DX/LX/EX Sedan

Didn't see any guides for an non-si door removal. Hope this will help for anyone who needs to do this! Step 1. Release the locking tab and pull out the plastic piece inside the door handle. Remove the screw underneath.
2. Pry the entire switch panel out (there is an indent on the very front)
Underside of black plastic piece
3. Release 2 wire clips from the switch panel
4. Remove 2nd screw 5. Pry the door panel off. The entire panel is held on by green push clips and hooked in at the top, so pry starting from the bottom. !! BE CAREFUL !! the door handle and wires will still be attatched to the inside of the panel. Release it by pushing the top 2 clips on the inside.
Door lock wires, the 2 large yellow and blue wires are door lock/unlock. If you're installing the KP Technologies electronic beep module.

You don't have to remove the lock section on the coupe. You have to remove the silver trim piece on top. Start at the back be the arm rest and work your way to the front and up to the top by the handle. The very top has a tab that hooks in that's why we don't start prying there. Once you've popped the clips swing the bottom piece out. It's easy you'll see as soon as you start prying. Then remove three screws behind this piece and everything else us the same.

I think I wrote this somewhere before. Maybe someone can link it.

Also wondering....I see the layer of white material on the panel and the black matting onthe door. What purpose do they serve. I was going to take them out as im taking most material for sound out of the car. I will leave the plastic thats caulked to the door because id assume that is for moisture....but would removing the white and black sheets have any negative effects other than sound deadening and possible heat retaining in the car?
