    BLOWN MOTOR 9th GEN

Need new long block in the process of dropping new motor in my channel will be updated shortly. basically i was driving on a bad tune I'm not going to mention his name due to the fact i don't want to lay the blame on him fully. Yes i beat the piss out off my car, spirited driving every day, put about 60 miles a day... i still don't feel like that is an excuse for something of this nature to happened but hey! Things happen and all I can do is bounce back. Thanks for the support and advice to Kevin and Mark Chang at kseriespros definitely recommend everyone to head that way for all their car parts needs!

When this happened, have you been tuned already for a good long while? or did you periodically re-tune? I heard about the stock Honda ECU auto-tuning based on temperature, and I heard that flashpro/tune deactivates this "auto-tuning" for ambient temperature. In hindsight, do you think you could have saved your motor by re-tuning maybe 2x per year? (for drastic changes in outside temp.)

I had just flashed my car back to stock so there was nothing on my ECU as if it was wiped

    He doesn't have a signature...

I'm guessing that it is a combination of many things. Driving style, as he outlines above as 'beat the piss out of my car', probably had an effect. OP, what year and how many miles on your car?

lol, i though this is the old thread... i guess another blown motor..

been doing this for a long time, it is very hard to blow a honda motor up with just bolt-ons, many of us beat the crap out of the car everyday.. the longest will be albert at buddy club, over 10yrs and 200k now, his k24a motor is still running strong

the key is engine knock, plain and simple.
