I would let my d16y7 hit vtec every day. But it doesn`t have it.

Merging is from the on ramp is the best, it's not so much merging as it is blowing past everyone. Lol
Sometimes I just cruise in the 5-7 range(not for a whole trip or anything) but the engine sounds great. It doesnt sound like other manual's Ive had in the past(non-Vtec) where it sounds like the engine is going to explode at that RPM. Like the previous post said, its almost like the car likes it! I know I do...

    Agreed,

I have had several other high ish rpm cars including my 7 k rpm V6 Mustang but this is the only car that seems to sound better and healthier the more it revs!

I am still partial to the 8k rev of my old B16A2, but this is a great sounding engine.

The problem I have been having im used to shifting at about 8k and I have hit the rev limiter 2 times now just by listening to the engine and waiting for the power to peter out but on the new si It doesnt peter out before it is time to shift as a matter of fact it makes its most power right before redline.. Not a Like the old B16 or even the old b18 swap I did lol..

Haha. Yeah I feel like the engine just wants more and more. There is A LOT of potential with the K24Z7. The Hondata ReFlash moves the Rev Limiter to 7600k.

    Does the reflash void warranty?
