Bone Stock Si -- VitTuned vs stock tune comparison

As promised, we were able to get this to happen.

Scott was kind enough to bring down his BONE STOCK 2012 Civic Si for a tuning session today. Again, BONE STOCK, only thing we did was install and tune the FlashPro. Below are the results: three graphs showing power gains in various areas.

The final graph is a comparison between Scott's stock ‪#‎VitTuned‬ car and a bolt on 9th gen on the stock tune. So as I have previously said --- FlashPro + tune does more for the car than tossing bolt ons on it and not tuning it (note the huge power loss down low on the bolt on car -- the car on the stock tune hesitates, bogs and misfires). A good FlashPro tune goes beyond just the #'s -- overall drivability of the vehicle is a great improvement.

Scott can comment on the overall feel of the car compared to the stock map.

Thanks a lot Vit for the tune, and Max for his shop and dyno. I have to say again what a great time I had, awesome people and Vit spends the time needed to do it right. I've never had a car tuned and it was way more involved than I imagined. Max was explaining exactly what Vit was doing as we went through the tune process. I'm not that knowledgeable about tuning a car and it was cool to learn what goes into a tune (a lot !!).

My car drives so much better, one thing I constantly noticed on the drive home is how much smoother it is, not just driving WOT, but also for normal day to day type of driving. I obviously picked up some power which is awesome, but the whole driving experience has improved. One problem I had was my car bogging down going into 2nd and 3rd gear at WOT even with traction control turned off. Vit noticed it right away on the graph from the first pull he did and the tune he did fixed that problem.

I drove 4 and half hours one way for the tune and it was well worth it. I was left wondering why in the world people would not get Flashpro as the first mod, or worse, buy a bunch of bolt ons and no Flashpro.

Mine hasn't been on the dyno yet =p waiting on this damn blower to show up from cte before I get any numbers.

Tune makes a shiiiiit ton of difference though huh? Last few days on my lunch break I've just been driving around on random back roads around work since we've completed the e-tuning process

+21 peak hp after the tune? How is that possible? I thought our engines were as efficient as possible with the stock parts....

That makes me wonder, too. Why doesn't Honda, or any manufacturer, tune their cars at the factory to get the most out of them? Doesn't a good tune increase gas mileage, too, if driven conservatively?
