    17x8 rpf1 with 235 40, +35 or +45?

Looking to order some rpf1's for my 2012 civic si coupe. I know I wanna go with some 235 40 tires (Kraftwerks supercharged with 335whp and I'm tired of spinning) but I don't want any rubbing issues. I had rubbing issues with my eigth gen and it was a nightmare. I'm lowered on springs about 1.5 inches. I know there's been a thread similar to this but I can't find a straight answer. Any advice/ pictures would be greatly appreciated.

+35 would look dope cause you'd be flush with some nice wide tires although probably less fitment issues with +45 as long as it clears your struts which based on MugenSi it does. I have 17x8 +35 RPF1's and went with 225/45/17 tires cause I wanted something meatier rather than the rubber band look, if I didn't go for that I would of gone 235/40/17.

I'm considering buying these wheels... Motegi Racing MR131 Traklite Silver Wheel (18x9"/5x114.3mm, +35mm offset). Does anyone know if that size will work on our cars? I'm looking to get the widest tire I can get. I am aware I'll most likely need to roll my fenders, but I'm also curious if anything else needs to be done. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks man!

now that I have a better understanding of fitments and how my current wheels fit on my car. If I could do it again I would do 17x9 +35. You will probably rub depending on your ride height but the set up looks a lot better.

Pretty aggressive specs but will work with fender roll probably won't be able to go wider than 245 tires.
