    Need help locating part (bracket)

So I am in the process of putting in an aftermarket head unit in my 2014 Honda Civic EX and I somehow misplaced one of the brackets that screws in the bottom of the radio. I will show a picture below of the part I miss placed. It is below the radio and has 3 screws. I need it...

Is that the HVAC control unit you are needing?

It connects right under the HVAC control unit with 3 screws. It holds your whole faceplate (for the head unit and HVAC) on with 2 screws.

Good luck. I'd say best bet is to take the pictures (or even the part the bracket attaches to) to your local Honda dealership parts department and ask the person there. Or you can spend a few hours looking at schematics online, but it might be faster to ask the dealership.

Aren't there any junkyards around anymore?

Years ago I used to go to a couple of local 'auto wreckers' where there was a pretty good chance I could find something I needed for my car. Sometimes I'd have to go out into the yard and take it off the remains of car, myself.

There's a whole 'community' of auto wreckers next to Citifiield in Flushing, NY that's been there for decades. Here's a link:

Why not call some of them and ask if they have the part you want? They might even send it to you. It's worth a shot.

You can find the screw at a hardware shop or an electronics shop. Take the part and see what fits.
