    Smaller, less powerful engines will usually be affected more by weight than larger, more powerful engines. The pulling I'm not so sure about.

    Pretty much. It has to do with the power/weight ratio. On our 9th gens it's around 14 lbs/hp (I approximated 2850 lbs and 201 hp). So for every 14 pounds you strip from the car, it feels like you gained 1 hp....the reciprocal is also true.

    I'm 6'3 and about 200lbs.. But my car still pulls hard haha. I know someone said weight is weight, but wouldn't the shape and how the mass of weight is shifted have something to do with the wear of the seats/the car pulling hard or not? I mean wouldn't it be like someone 5'6 and 220 being heavily centered in the seat causing it to lean, while a person of my size not causing it to lean because the weight being spread out?
