    Looks good.
    Whenever I'm suffering from Insomnia, I just look at a picture of a Toyota Camry and I'm straight off.

    Shift knob

    It looks it, but it's not. Thread is at the very top. Knob was able to bottom out before the adapter did. Knob sits at the same height as my first pic.

    Shift knob


    Update: went after a SSCO SR Lite knob. Super counter-sunk, and heavier than that Mugen knockoff. Liking it so far, though I may need to raise it just a tad. Sits so low, there's not much space for fingers to rest up against the boot flange.
