Its really impossible to tell you anything from this level of detail.
How much harder to shift? Is it just occasional notchiness or will the shifter just not get into gear?
Does this happen on all gears? Just one gear? Even gears, odd gears?

Whens the last time you changed trans fluid or if ever? How do you drive the car? Is every gear change life or death?

it was occasional i would really notice it when the weather was cold. i change the fluid often kinda felt like i had to really kinda force it sometimes to go into gear. Not as much now that its hotter but still not as smooth

In colder climates its not uncommon, have to warm the car up and warm the fluid so it thons out. Where do you live?

If you don't know the car's service history, the first thing to do is a transmission fluid change. Ideally, it should be done every 30k miles.

I have had my share of transmission issues. I had to rebuild the transmission completely (shattered 4th gear) and had many clutch issues. What ended up being the catalyst for my issues ended up being the shifter cables and clutch. My cables got stretched, which led to my 4th gear breaking on misshifting frequently. I ended up switching out the CMC and Slave to the N1 aftermarket listed on procivic.com and getting a new clutch at a honda shop near me. That along with new cables and my shifting feels like brand new again.

Its hard to tell which one you should look at for your issue, i would say clutch. The one thing i learned is the stock transmission components on our cars arent the best lol
