    Any ideas (limp mode)?

I have a 2012 si that is going into limp mode. Its done it twice now. Only happens while im really putting the screws to it. Check engine starts flashing and the car starts losing power. Then when pulled over and idling the CEL tuns off until you touch the accelerator. Then it starts flashing again and the car won't rev over 3k rpm... also cant find a code with the obd2 reader...
    Any ideas?

    Any ideas?
    Start with basics:
is the battery good and fully charged?
are the battery cables clean and tight at both ends?
click link in my sig line and search keywords: ECM Power and Ground Circuit Troubleshooting
    does the car have modifications?
has the car had work done recently?
    Miles on the car?

I had an 01' Miata and it would do this every so often under similar circumstances. Ended up being a faulty coil pack causing a misfire situation.
