Installing Auto Climate Module in LX

I have a 2013 LX with the standard climate. I've seen auto climate modules go on eBay and was wondering if its as simple as plug and play? The module itself looks identical in terms of shape, so does the module communicate with the car the same way for both modules? Or can I only have auto climate if my car came with it?

If I can use the auto climate module, is there any DIY tutorial on it or some helpful resources that can guide me?

i believe it is much more than plug & play. there are sensors to determine temps and radiant heat in the car.

There was someone who did it way back when. I think you can get it hooked up and able to control temps, but couldn't get the auto climate feature to work. It was not plug and play.

It had been done but only the LCD worked. It wouldn't even function for the controls so not worth it honestly.
