DW65c Fuel Pump And Gas Levels

Hi guys, I recently had DW65c fuel pump installed and while it works great I noticed the fuel gauge does not read to the full level. ITs missing 1-2 bars even when filled up. I literally filled up the tank to when the nozzle clicks off and pumped in another gallon or two (I know its bad, but i was testing it) once filled up it shows 1-2 bars lower than full.

IS this something normal and will it go away within a few fill-ups or will this need to be re-checked. Its not a big deal as its working great, but it would be great to have an accurate measurement of fuel during my trips.

The pump itself wouldn't affect that, however you have to remove the float assembly while installing it. It would be pretty easy to bend he float while replacing the pump or removing/re-installing the assembly from the car.

Cool thanks for the response, I'll double-check that. It should be able to be bended back into place for a correct reading right?
