Projector LED reverse vs. LED reverse difference

    Hello guys,

I was wondering what the difference is between the two? Is one brighter than the other one? Is there a cut off line on the projector ones?

No cutoff line for projector LEDs, it's just small "projectors", not the real one.. However the projector LEDs are much brighter than regular LEDs because of those small projectors.

Is there any fault warning displayed in the MID from using these LED type bulbs and is a decoder resistor harness needed?

Only for daytime running lights. The computer doesn't monitor reverse lights.

    That's good to know.

I've been searching for some brighter reverse light to compensate for my dark wind tint.

I guess the stock 7440 T20 type bulbs are around 25-watts each?

I would be tempted to try these 50W Cree LED bulbs with a 950 lumen rating but it might be too much wattage for the wire harness or relay switch components.
