    That is a good question.
    Listen for a growling or grinding sound especially at idle.

    Most drivers will not notice the noise until the pump is pretty far gone.
    So if you are concerned; swing by a dealer or other repair shop and ask a tech to listen to the engine.

    Yes, course..!! but not my case.... the example with little whistle like a "little super charged" was only for reference.... it's difficult to explain... but it's a little whistle when you acceleret the car(in movement, not on relenti)

    Ive heard of people having that issue with intakes and TBS but not stock. I used to have a whistle on my integra with my intake

    GMB, AcDelco? Nissin or another brand ??

    If i were to replace the water pump on my car, Nissin or Denso would be my top choices. That said, my Si has 230k miles and the pump is fine. The clutch does squeal and rattle sometimes but it's still the OE one so that is to be expected.
