    Help with ELD

Hey guys, need a little help on this one. Did a little searching but found little info on removing the Electronic Load Detector (ELD). Found some info on the 8thgen civic but im looking for all the info and help I can.

I put a high output alternator in a while back and bypassed the stock charging system. I have had a battery light on and check charging system message from Imid all the time now. Was wondering if bypassing the ELD would remove these useless annoying indicators. They pose no issue other than bugging the heck out of me, especially at night. Hate having the red battery light on and yellow Imid light on.

Any help or opinions on my problem would greatly be appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Do you have a wiring diagram, or schematic, of how the after market alternator is connected?

It has a single turn on lead which I tapped into the interior fuse box. Simply when the ignition is on, the alternator is on and when ignition is off the alternator is off. Then I have a 0 gauge charging wire to the battery.

The stock alternator wire/plug is taped up and tucked away. I also no longer have the stock ground wire on battery with the sensor thingy on it. The wire going to it is just taped up and tucked away like I did the alternator wire. Simply just need a way to fool the car into thinking the alternator is there and working.

I'm basically running a traditional charging system and bypassed the factory charging system. Just need a way to fool the car into thinking everything is there and working fine.

Still searching on this one guys...really want to get rid of the imid charging system message and battery light.

Anyone who works at honda that could provide any kind of wiring diagrams for the ELD system would be really helpful.

Can't without flash pro, you coulda stayed stock and upped the juice with FP.live with it or a few hundred dollar fix.
Or go back to stock and run 2 supercap banks with better batteries.
Keep in mind this could definitely affect your warranty.

    Google Honda Service Express.
You can pay $10 for 24 hours of access to all Honda/Acura service data.
However, I don't think you will find an answer there.

You didn't mention where, so yes, if that's where you got flash for your car.
