Normal driving will pretty much complete the break in after about 600 miles. It should be completely ready for a good hard run after 1,000 miles or less. The oil consumption sometimes gets slightly worse between 1,000 and 3,000 miles then tapers off. Monitor your oil level closely during this time to see if it gets thirsty and needs a little oil to keep it in the safe range of the dipstick. Yours does not appear to be one of the high oil consumption problem engines and most likely will not be one.
The safe range of the dipstick is technically any place between the two holes on the stick. It is a good idea to keep it at or near the top hole to be safe. It is perfectly fine at the lower hole but it would not take much to be consumed to put you at risk for oil starvation which is never a good idea. Starvation for even a short time is very hard on the engine due to low oil pressure.
