You scored big time congrats on your 2013 everybody else your still SOL.

To clarify I should of said the ones who continue to complain about the road noise issue or the low frequency sound or whatever it's called are still SOL

    Yeh.
Happy with my 12. I don't know what to make of owners like this.
I drive the car everyday, it's my daily driver. I had an 08 Si, for 140k enjoyable miles, I know my 12 Si is much quiter, the only thing I didn't like was the body roll, which I addressed myself with the sway bar upgrade.

Part of me wants to say that owners like this could have legitimate issues with what they're talking about. Part of me feels customers like this are never really happy and just want the next big thing, smart phones etc. The type of person who feels like a schmuck pulling up to an EX when he has an LX, gotta keep up with the Joneses. Part of me says that business is at fault for this mentality as that's how they try to keep product moving.

All I know is I love my 12 Si, it is what a car should be for all the right reasons, IT IS QUIET, and I could care less about how soft the plastics are and chrome accents, they spent the money where it mattered, engine, drive train, transmission, it's 100 lbs lighter, that's what a car is.

I also know this OP used every platform he could find to pine, whine, boo hoo, and cry until they moved him into an updated 13, then said, so sorry, so long, good good luck guys... the whole series of events with the "climactic" finish make it quite clear what was going on here.

I dunno: I don't profess to have any health related issues at all. I have sensitive hearing, and the cabin, to me, is loud, but that's not my issue: mine is the leak in the driver's side door panel. The dealership has tried to fix it about five times now to no success and are sending in a specialist. I intend to sit him down and give him the full background. A solution is unlikely, but I'm not letting this issue go and intend to hold them as accountable. For all I complain about the quality or materials in the 2012 models, I CAN overlook the the noise cabin and "lesser" interior (compared to the 2013)- it really isn't THAT bad even though the "story" is upsetting to me as a consumer, but I cannot overlook an additional 'leak' on top of it. I do mostly highway driving, and having that howling in my left ear is enough to drive you crazy after a few minutes.

I'm not expecting a solution or resolution, but as someone who has purchased four brand new Honda's since 2006, I think I've invested enough in their business to have my concerns addressed seriously. At the very least, I have to try. Obviously I don't know the 'decibal' levels of my interior like OP does, nor is my case as strong as his, but the bottom line is that there should not be a leak in the door on a well-maintained 2012 model vehicle. It's under warranty, and I expect it addressed.

This is for Stigmacher... If I am the OP, rest assured I have no envy of any person who owns any model of Honda. I bought the car solely for the economy and Honda duability, not for the fluff. Secondly I would never buy an Si, nor would I buy many of the young person type cars out there, it wouldn't suit my age, personality or driveway.
As far as me whining, or in other ways complaining, you have obviously not visited my website. My comments to Honda have all been science based, Honda realized it and made concessions as needed.
The comments and envy you display in your post are quite telling of your age and education. Put on a pair of big boy pants, grow up and realize your negative opinions are not worth the bandwidth it takes to post. I would hope your attitude is not common in this forum. If it is, there is little reason for others to have an opinion about anything for fear they will be flamed by the likes of you.

That's the last you'll hear of me. You can post any reply you wish to make your associates happy, but realize it won't be read by me.
I would hope when others see posts like your, they will slam you for being so rude; if you are the only one who posts this negative garbage that's great, however if there are others, the forum needs to be cleaned up - that's your job Mr. Moderator.

Closing this thread as it doesn't need to continue. The point has been addressed in full detail, the op resolved his issue and the info is still here for whoever needs it. No need to turn this into a war. As for your mr moderator comment, we try our hardest to keep forums clean, keep in mind opinions will be expressed on every issue. It's the way humans are.
