Future 2013 Turbo Si coupe owner

Hey all, I've been on this forum for over a month now but am just signing up. I'll be going to trade my E46 330i in within the next 2-3 months, at which point I am also ordering a complete full race turbo kit and having it custom dyno tuned. Looking very forward to documenting and sharing the whole build on this site. Stay tuned for more!

Just a heads up that the FR kit requires driver side fog light removal and a smaller battery in case you were not aware. This is a deal breaker for some so thought I would share...

Anyways, looking forward to an actual FR build!

second this, and welcome also another tidbit is I hear-tell that there is an alternative inter-cooler you can use to avoid the whole foglight issue but I'm not so sure about the battery thing.

Weird they never told me about that in all my asking if there was a solution (I had almost purchased the kit)...still I figured I would give the warning.

yeah I don't remember who told me I think it was arm0 or bozo or another guy I met at a socal meet but I think they said you could just use the prl intercooler or some other one.

Yes, I am very aware of this but thanks for helping out. I planned on using the prl battery relocation kit and I'm not 100% sure if an alternate intercooler would avoid the fog light issue but if not it won't bother me that much to lose them. Just as a little heads up I'm shooting for 380-400whp. I will be tracking the car at BMP (Bradenton Motorsports Park) in the 1/4 mile from bone stock to fully modded, posting timeslips the whole way.

Oh, and running in FL should net me pretty quick times. My first task is to try and run as close to 14.6 on the untouched motor. Then add drag radials, rinse, repeat and go from there.
