Speed 3 Speed 3 Speed 3. That was what I was buying Thursday. I recently owned a 2011 civic si and I loved that car. I was in a car wreck which totaled that car last weekend and text drove a WRX and a Mazdaspeed 3. After lots of insurance and gap problems I would have waited 3 months before getting the zoom zoom. So I went back to the Honda dealer to clear some papers and ended up with a 2012 Civic Si. I wasn’t looking at this car because of the talk from people putting down the 2012 and all. But you know what. This is a nice car. Someone said the interior looked cheap and what not on this site. But that dude clearly hasn’t been in the 2012 WRX or Mazdaspeed 3. The interior in those cars were just blah. Not the stick that the WRX has is amazing and the power that the Mazdaspeed 3 has is even better. But something about the company that made the NSX and S2000 just couldn’t get me away. I think the interior rocks for a car of this class. Comfortable and the increased torque that the 2.4L has are worth talking about. I do wish that we still had our 8K fuel cut off shift going to 9K but I am pretty sure that with some programming high sevens will come. Besides it’s Honda. The aftermarket will come. For those that just want to keep their car a stock 2011 because they feel the 2012 doesn’t have enough performance is a very funny statement if you think about it .
A little about me… I am a soldier in the armed forces part time and a train conductor full time. I hope to be a racer part time as well. Drag with one car and hit up the cone courses with this one. My last comment on the new civic is I do agree that the back isn’t as appealing but I like the new face. But then I tend to like catfish styled fronts on cars. Now I own two J. Glad to be here .
Hi guys! I am a newbie here. Getting my car tomorrow an lx sedan PMM. After months of research i stick to Honda. Although this is my first time to own a car. Hope it will be blast....!!!
Well I traded down or up. However you want to look at it. Camaro kept eating my money like a fat kid liking cake so I had to choose. Made a deal with the family to only have one car for performance and one car in general for NOW.
Trading in the civic and selling the Camaro. Well I traded in the Civic already. I still have it for a few more days. I am going to miss it. And you better believe I will be back. Great car. Short lived projects but was fun tearing it apart.
My now one and only is the 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T. Great deals going on in IL and I got one with 10 miles on it for 27K. But I am thinking by next year Ill be able to complain enough about driving my new car in the winter that Ill be able to get back into an SI. Wonder what will come next. Ill stay in the news though. Too much love here for Honda to not. Still want an s2000 but I kinda of got away with getting this car. Was suppose to be a FWD performance ride or AWD and in 4cyls...haha my bad.
No no... Ill be back. I just had to get something bigger yet still have fun with and only have one. But I hope to get a refreshed civic pending future wife lol
Well we'll be here when you get back! Think of the bright side, if the 2013s have some nice upgrades this whole scenario would have worked out for the best.
I'm confused. You got rid of a Civic and a Camaro for a Challenger? Wait. After seeing your signature, you're selling a 760hp Camaro and keeping a 2012 Challenger? I feel like I'm missing some critical information here.
Sad to hear
But hey buy an old beater SI put an H22 in it and make a project log! haha. Hope you stick around the forums you had good info and some funny coments.
haha. I wouldn't ever through this car off a cliff. I'm annoyed how I haven't got my car in delivery yet. Mad about how there isn't tuning for this car either. And not happy with the fourms on that side. Good people. Kind off dull though. Happy about having one big car though.
With the winter im sure ill be back in an si as long as my promotion doesn't fall through at work. All comes down to me

Im coming back boys. The challenger was nice... very nice. The forum sucked. All people do on their is argue about which challenger is better between the V6, 5.7 (which i had), 6.1, and the 392? Wow.
Have twins coming so we decided to get a four door and get some money back. I wont have a 9th gen again though. Ill have an 8th. Gotta save some script.
Any suggestions for buying a used si. I will be adding that rotrex supercharger i put on my 9th gen with my old camaros nitrous kit so power adders are taken car of. Just need to find the car. Glad to be home though Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App
