    Honda Brake Pads

I just purchased a set of Honda front brake pads (45022-TR3-A02). The inspection mechanic said my old pads are cracking. The kit came with a bunch of what I’ll call shims and a pack of sealant. What is the proper procedure for assembling the shims and sealant. Do I need to use all of the shims?

The last time I did a brake pad change, the kit included, for the front end (2 wheels), 4 brake pads, 8 shims, and lubricant.

The shims are used behind each brake pad, 4 per wheel.
