DIY: FKX Racing Subframe Brace /w Lower Tie Bar

    Tools:
    3/16 in. hex key
    13mm socket
    14mm socket
    Long torque wrench

    Instruction:

Insert two bolts in the black subframe bracket and FKX lower tie bar then tighten them with nuts. On subframe brace and bracket, insert washer in the bolt first then put it in the bracket and subframe brace. Tighten with nut. Do the same thing on the other side then you are ready to install. (Use left side of the picture for install referance.)

It's best to support rear lower arm with the jack. Use torque wrench with 14mm socket to remove bolt. (Finish install one side first don't remove both L/R bolts at the same time.)

Put smaller washer in subframe bolt then insert it into the brace. After that, put Bigger washer next then spacer(nut).

Tighten everything up with torque wrench. Double check everything tightened and aligned and DONE!

The subframe brace doesn't sit flush against the subframe?

For anyone who reads this, please don't use your torque wrench to remove anything, that's a great way to ruin it.

Why do you specifically say "use a torque wrench" to remove the bolts when torque wrenches are only used for tightening? Its typically bad practice to remove bolts with a torque wrench
