  1. Downpipes and Exhausts
I cant seem to find an answer using the search button... I understand that the Axle back for the 8th gen is a direct bolt on fitment on our 9th gens...but how about the rest? My buddy is giving me his full cat back exhaust and i am wondering if it will fit on my 9th gen civic. Thanks!
  2. Video Room
Not my video, and i dont promote illegal street racing, plus they said they were on closed course :D. First race the 9th takes him, second is pretty much tied the 8th pulls away by a hair... you can see him talking in the end saying 9th is faster because it has a bigger engine.
  3. Gatherings and Meets
Hey guys I know this is a little on the short notice but we're having meet and greet tonight at the Berlin Turnpike from 6-10 PM at Burger King, a lot of 8th gen si's are gonna be out there as well as some 9th's we've been planning this for around a week and it looks like it might be a pretty...
  4. Downpipes and Exhausts
So far, I'm loving it! The axle back gives a nice deep hum, nothing too canny. I have no regrets whatsoever. Picked it up for $150. Only problem is, I think the tip sits a little too close to the rear bumper, don't want to risk melting. For you others who have done this as well, do you guys...
  5. Wheels and Tires
Can i use my 8th gens aftermarket wheels on my 9th gen direct fit? I have Buddy Club SF Challenges that fit perfectly on my 8th gen, thinking about grabbing a 2013 9th gen will it fit with no problems whatsoever? I believe they are 5x114 with a +42 offset and 225/35/18 tires. Im not concerned...
  6. Si Only
I ordered them from Corsport the 12 si , they said it was for the 9th gen, Corsport has an issue reguarding false advertising for 8th, and 9th gen productsx they say on the 8th products that its made for that, and the 9th was made separately, at least they can say it's the same part, but they...
  7. Wheels and Tires

  8. Intakes and TB Spacers
I've been thinking of a way to get around using the factory flex intake hose with the Injen "pretzel" and i figured id try a true CAI from an 8th since im running an 8th intake. it was quite a bit more work than installing the Injen but it was really worth it. my car has a lot mot=re power now...

Hello 9th! An 8th gen fg1 owner here. i was able to land a really good deal for my sister, so we have both an 8th and 9th in the garage. we got an TW lx sedan and although i do admit the interior quality is not as good as my 06, the car is pretty nice, considering the really good deal we got on...

    Hi All, Will a 18x8 +30 or 18x9 +30 fit on a EX sedan dropped on 8th gen skunk2 springs? That's about a 2 inch drop. I'm intending to run 225/40/18's Thanks!
  13. Wheels and Tires
Hey all been looking around and I see a lot of nice used Oem and aftermarket 8th gen wheels for sale around me. Since the lx comes with like 12x2.5 wheels stock I was thinking of picking up a set to change out the look. Does anyone know if any of them would fit and if so which ones to look out...
  14. Wheels and Tires
I'm purchasing these steel wheels with snow tires from someone that had it on an 8th gen civic but all the talk about the 8th gen SI wheels not clearing the calipers is having me worried. I read on some threads saying that 16 steelies would fit but I wasn't sure if it they came from a 2012 Civic...
  15. Wheels and Tires

  17. Si Only
Curious to hear your thoughts. The question is: do you think the willingness of many 9th gen Civic owners to use 8th gen parts is slowing the development of the generation-specific aftermarket? After all, if the current parts are good enough, why spend the time and money to develop more?
