I'm wondering how to launch my car in a drag, The bests RPM i should launch my car, what tire pressure i should use for the OEM winter tires, how to change gears in a drag, did anyone can give me another advice or any tip to drag my car?

Title pretty much says it. Without too much experience, launching the car (for me anyway) is not cut and dried. I think this is probably the 2nd or 3rd time I've even tried this. Constructive criticism is welcome.
I've read about how to launch a car on the street and at the track, and everyone says to hold it at about 2500, then slowly release the cluth while rolling on the throttle. That works generally for me but i wanted to know if there are any better or more specific tips for the Si. Anyone?

Anyone have first hand experience with the traction control on a new Civic, i.e. what it feels like, is it effective, when it engages, what it does?
I have first hand experience with it on a Mustang GT. It doesn't do a damn thing, especially when it badly needed. No more Ford. :wigglesmiley:
