Just spotted some 2015 Civic SI wheels on Craigslist for good deal. They're 18s, will these fit on a 2012 Civic LX 2d? Currently have 15s on my Civic.

I'm pretty sure they'll fit but your MPG and especially your performance will go downhill since the 18s are heavy and now your car has to move more rotational mass also your speedometer and odometer will be off. So to answer your question yes they fit but IMHO they are not a good fit.

With my build, i come to the conclusion that it'll hold off on buying a set of "real wheels" and say no to reps and simply slap some fresh meat on my stock '13 si wheels. So with that being said, whats the best performance tire per buck in the 215/45r17 sizing?

If your talking summer tires than probably Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

I've got these on my 2015 SI Coupe
2015_SI_wheel.jpg

I've seen this information about them:
5-lug
18x7-1/2
29 lbs without tires

Reccomended tire size 225/40ZR18

Looking to learn what offset they are as well. I can't seem to find that.

Edit: I found it. Silly me...
+47mm on the wheel offset.

Bolt pattern is the same, however if rim diameter is different just make sure the sidewall profile of the tire is upsized or downsized to match the 9th Gen specs

Yes they will fit. A few people on IG have 10th gen wheels on their 9th gens.

In my opinion, 10th gen wheels look a little out of place on 9ths, but thats just me :p

Thinking of doing some selective dipping. Thoughts? Kind of reminds me of GTI wheels before they went directional.

Stupid question - does anyone have a 2014 or 2015 Si that came with the optional summer tires (Continental ContiSportContact in 225/40R18)? If so, what is the factory-recommended tire pressure from the sticker in the door jamb? I know the all-seasons come with a recommendation of 33PSI; interested if the summers are any different.

I have a question guys. I have a Honda Civic Si with the HFP package. On 18 inches wheels 225/40R18. I was wondering if 235/40R18 would still fit good. Thanks!

how many psi should I give to a 16 inch wheel?
It's based on the recommendation of the sticker in the door jam (first), and the particular tire (second), not the wheel.
