Hello,

Thought I would share the light on some of the mods I've been installing as well as my current install of a Makspeed Turbo kit with Comp 6062 Ball Bearing Turbo. Also a beta of kseriespros.com soon to come ethanol content sensor kit for Hondata.

Here's what I first installed.
D2 Lowering Springs
Truhart Shocks
Skunk2 DP
SPC Camber Arms
Modded Stock CAI
Hondata Flashpro and Tuned with VitViper - Best upgrade
Stoptech Slotted/Drilled Rotors
Hawk HP Plus Pads
Stoptech Stainless Steal Brake Lines

Made just under 200whp and drove great, perfect setup for daily. The brake setup was a little extreme for daily as the pads can be really noisy and they get dirty quickly but damn could they bite. I then wanted something a bit stiffer as I am a track enthusiast and needed my car to rotate better.

Here's what I've added/replaced and have been running for the past year.
Action Stage 1 - Clutch w/Lightweight flywheel
Godspeed 2-Way Monomax - 12KG Front 14KG Rear (Don't recommend for daily, but I do it anyways)
Siromoto Middle and Front Subframe Braces
Sirimoto Trunk Brace
Progress 24mm Rear Sway Bar - 2nd best upgrade
FKX Racing Rear Subframe Brace
Tanabe Axle Back
Konig Hypergram 17x9 +25 - 16lbs and Flow Formed Cast like Enkei
Federal 595rr - 255/40-17
Acuity Bushings & Boot Collar Kit
All Amsoil Fluids
-Engine 5w-30 w/Filter
-Transmission MTF
-Brakes Dominator
-Wetter Coolant

Now comes the big install which I've just about finished up. Here
Makspeed Turbo Kit w/Black Powder Coated Piping & Upgraded Comp 6062 Ball Bearing Turbo
Gear-X 1st-4th W/ RSX Type-S 4.3 Final Drive
Action Stage 3 - Clutch w/Lightweight flywheel
Beta of Kseriespros.com Ethanol Content Sensor Kit

I can't get the images to load with bb code so i'll post links, also you can follow me on Instagram @jchapman805

Those red wheels are pretty awesome.
Thanks! They are really inexpensive, I paid a little over 500$ for the set. Konig Hypergrams 17/9 +22, I think I may order the Dekagrams next. They're Flowformed just like enkei so they're pretty strong and light for a non forged wheel.

Yea, I was gonna go with some konigs, but my distributor for them doesn't take credit cards, had to go with the motegi's same flow form type deal

Is the modified stock CAI mostly for sound?
It actually improved the air intake, not just for sound. After the tune It picked up just as much as a Short ram intake without as much heat soak imo. Short rams are useless though, if you do happen to go CAI I would stick with Acuity or PRL.

Did you have to do any fender rolling? Or even pulling?

There was rub, I pulled a little bit but I didn't mind it takes hoursssss pulling the fenders. My next move is to cut the back half of the front fenders off and pull them out way more. About to pick up some RPF01's in 18x11 +8 fronts and 18x9.5 rears. Been looking to also do fender flares, been eyeballing some super20 fender flares and slicing it up to fit the wheels wide body.

It's been a minute since I updated this thread so I'll just post some images and add to the list. I've so far been compiling a bunch of car parts for another big install coming soon.

Part's ready for next install:
RBC Manifold w/Hondata Gasket
Tractuff K24z7 Coolant Bypass
Manley H-Beam Rods
Wiseco 87mm Piston's
Supertech Valve Spring & Retainers Kit
PRL Coolant Hoses for RBC manifold
ARP Head Studs
K24z3 Long Block - Sending to Cylinder Support Systems for 800WHP Rating w/O Rings
10Ft. -10AN Vibrant Hoses w/Fittings for Oil Cooler
Torque Plate

Things I still need:
DW 300C Fuel Pump
2000CC+ Fuel Injectors
Radium Fuel Rail w/Fuel Pressure Regulator
Oil Cooler Radiator
Koyorad radiator

and lets not forget more $$

Looks like some solid work, bet that car is fun to drive.
Ohh its wild, super dialed in right now too, a little over 300WHP/250WTQ on 8psi with 91 octane tune. A bit uncomfortable as a daily economic car with suspension but any autoX or track days and It really shines. I walked a couple 5.0 mustangs and was door to door with a tuned turbo GTI once. Every now and then someone will randomly try to race me and most get a nice surprise.

What kind of numbers you looking for after the build?
I'll have a boost by gear controller for grip so on the top end around 700whp+, likely run on a lower boost settings most of the time.

I just finished up my first turbo build, and im curious, what rpm do you start building boost at with your set up (generally, I know it's hard to watch rpm and boost)? I've not done gears or any internal engine parts yet. Are you doing them yourself? Is the engine internals, or transmission internals harder to do?

Sweet set up man.

Well I had Mark Chang build my transmission. He also helped me with my turbo install since he knew all the little things that someone who's never done it would know. I have the type-s 4.3 Final drive so my gears are really long with the gearX, literally first goes to 52 and 2nd to 75. I build boost around 3.5K and I'm at full 8psi around 5K, and this is on a pretty lazy Vit tune. 91 octane sucks, If i tune on e85 it would be a different story but since I'm building an engine I don't mind sitting at a little over 300Whp, it really is fun enough. Mark Chang is also going to help me build and blueprint the engine since his is so damn savage.

Did gears or the final drive make the bigger difference for the high speeds in lower gears?
I did a full race kit, Borg Warner EFR 7064. I only did that because I didn't want a open waste gate. I build boost around 2,500rpms, and am at 8 PSI. Tuner said it ran at 8 and fell to 6 at upper rpms, but I've not seen 6 PSI. I'm at 360hp, the RBC helps alot. I'm also 93 octane.

I'm sure I build boost sooner cause my EFR turbo should Max out around 550whp.

If I could do 52mph in first gear, I'd be much better off. I've got tires ordered, I only get traction in 3rd if it's 70F and dry out. Once the wife recovers I plan on doing gears and turning it up to 11psi, the final drive sounds like something I'll add. Will pay someone to do the gears most likely. Where did you source the final drive?

You spool fast from the EFR turbo for sure, those things spool stupid quick. I have a larger turbo I believe as well, my turbo maxes out at 800hp. The 4.3 Final drive is what really makes the gears longer, it's also better for highway cruising because at like 75mph im at around 3k rpm in 6th outside of boost. GearX 1-4th are also a little taller so the combination makes it really long like that.
