I'm planning my wheel/tires for my next purchase. Eyes are set on silver Enkei rpf1's 17x9 +30.
Most are stretching 215/40's on these wheels...

I want the best tire for clearence and max grip/ contact with the road. do you think 245/40's will fit the car without rubbing in hard cornering?
If I do have to stretch.. maybe 235/40? I have an account with firestone and the tire's are going to be Bridgestone potenza re760 sports.

Just looking for advice.

yep. better stick with 235. try it and if you have room maybe 245 when those wear out. might be able to fit if you give it some camber.

Thanks for the advice guys. Going from stock to 235/40's should be nice. Also going from all seasons to summer performance tires should make a hugh difference.

as of now I have the money to buy 1 rim... LOL waiting sucks.
