Disappointed that MetroPCS phones aren't supported... Boo hoo. Who knew individual phones had to be specifically supported. How is Bluetooth on a 2012 civic going to work 10 years from now when all the phones and carriers are different? There must be a better way to do this.

Hi there, I just purchased a new cellphone yesterday (April 29, 2017) and want to pair it with my 2012 Honda civic. Upon pressing the phone button on my civic and turning "ON" the bluetooth on my cellphone, it can't read my mobile device. All it shows on the dash are the two previously paired mobile devices, nothing else. Could anybody help me correct this problem. Thank you very much. jerryl

You will probably have to erase the 2 old phones from the cars memory.

When it asks "Do you want to pair phone" scroll down past NO. There will be an option to reset.

I just bought a '12 si and had to do the same to remove the previous owners phone.

I Bought a 2012 Honda Civic a few months back, love the car and the Bluetooth phone was working when I got the car. Had the glove box open, shut it firmly, and the Bluetooth stopped working. Now it just searches for my phone, keeps coming up with rectangular box searching for my phone and will not let me reset anything as the box keeps showing up on the screen. Any ideas?

As useful as this is... Is it bad that I only have used bluetooth a handful of times on my Si before I become more focused on driving than worrying about talking on the phone? Someone has to make a thread like this on the VR system. Which I still havent figured out for the life of me lol.

I used an 1Phone 4s, an HTC One M8 and all features worked with HFL. Now I have an iPhone 7 and the Text msg notification is gone. I have reset HFL quite a few times...Any ideas that I may be missing? Thanks!

For '12 si, I keep getting a constant disconnect and connect. The phone will not stay paired with the car for more than a minute. I just gave up using bluetooth.
