2012 civic Si clutch vibration

I know there's already a thread about this, but my trouble seems slightly different then the poster of that thread. My 2012 civic Si that I bought a year and one month ago that currently has 4000km on it(never winter driven which in Canada means not driven for 8 months in the year) has a weird problem with the clutch. Occasionally when depressing the clutch there will be a very noticeable vibration coming from it. This seems to happen when I'm shifting aggressively, and push the clutch in moments after releasing the gas. It also happens at low rpms too, anywhere from the 2.5-7.5l range. I noticed if I let off the gas completely for a full second before engaging the clutch it sometimes helps the problem. Is this normal or should I take it in? I think my drivetrain warranty has expired so how much will this most likely cost me?

Did you ever get your issue resolved? I have the exact same problem. I feel the clutch vibrating past 4000 rpm for that split second when my foot is all the way down on the clutch. It doesn't happen below 3000 rpm.
My 2013 has the same issue and I was told by the dealer that its normal behavior.
Probably normal. Once you push the engine harder it will vibrate some and the vibration will reverberate into the car.

Not normal.. my 2012 SI does the same thing and according to the dealership Honda is investigating the problem which is only affecting 2012-2013 SI's at the moment. So far there are no repairs available but what we did find out is that the vibration is coming from the floor of the car (according to the Honda rep). Hopefully it will become a recall since the manufacturer warranty doesn't last forever.

Good to know keep us updated as to the result. I doubt it will be a recall maybe a service bulletin.
I just took mine in today for the same clutch vibration feel. The diagnose was something to the effect of:

"Technician took out Customer's Si and felt some resonance in clutch pedal as indicated. Technician took out another same model year Si from the lot and felt similar resonance and has concluded that this is normal behaviour."

Well, there you go. At least I have it in writing if my Master Cylinder explodes somewhere down the line.
Any news about this? I've the same issue, mine is a 2012 coupe EX...
I've brought mine to 2 different dealerships. Both have said it is normal. I'm100% convinced a carisnot dispose to do this.I sorta feel lost on what to do. The dealer yesterday said theyfeel itbut it's normal . They had done sort of computer hooked up to the car as well. So not too sure what to do. I maytry to replace the transmission fluid but not sure which is good
Is everyone else experiencing this or its it just a handful of us. The vibration to mefeels more like constant clutch friction consistently
I notice this in my 2012 Si as well but only at 4k+ RPMs. I honestly only noticed it right when I got my car a year ago...but haven't since, probably because I've grown used to it.

I wouldn't sweat it personally.
Anyonethink lubricating our hearing greasing the clutch pedal rod and that general area might help some?
Count me in too.Clutch vibrates above 4000 rpm's.I have 2700 miles on my 2013.Hopefully the clutch doesn't wear out faster than normal.

Does your clutch start to vibrate and feel sorta gritty/rough only when it's warmed up? I notice the first 15-20min the clutch is smooth, and buttery at first but once my car is warmed up my clutch begins to feel like utter crap. I've brought it to 2 different dealers.

The second dealership noticed what I was talking about and even there tech took my car home and ran a diagnostic on my car and couldn't say there was an issue. The clutch feels so rough/gritty/sand paper like that it's starting to drive me insane. I feel completely lost and I don't know what too do. I feel like the dealers are saying its normal to avoid something. Should I bring it to an outside shop? Would my car still be covered? I can't see how a clutch that gets rave reviews is supposes to feel like mine. It's absolutely horrendous.
A small update; brought it to a 3rd dealer, because I know a clutch isnt suppose to go from good to horrible. Tech drove this one, and went on ride with him. He determined what he felt to be abnormal. Then they called the Honda Engineers? (unfamiliar with them) and they determined that they will be taking apart the whole clutch/assembly this Wednesday. I will update here if they find something (hopefully) so maybe anyone else with this similar problem can get it addressed and fixed.

Side note: anyone have a weird clicking/ rubbing sensation from their brake pedals once car is warmed up? I get this VERY annoying feeling/sensation. I cant seem to catch a break. Any ideas?
Does it click as you're braking? It doesn't make sense to me that it is correlated with your car being warmed up...unless your pads are rubbing causing them to warm up with your car. It sounds like you nay be over-sensitive to your car at the moment because of your clutch issues. Give it a bit and see if your clutch fix will somehow be a Rube Goldberg fix for the other issues youre having.

I was thinking the same thing, but when I had my father drive the car about 3 minutes into the ride he goes, " what the hell is wrong with your brakes". I thought I was going nuts too.

when i open one up the problem i seen was the clutch bearing inside the transmission faulty causing vibration and noise like rattle
