My new 2013 civic sedan does something that I'm not sure is normal; when the car is warmed up, usually on a drive longer than 10 miles, the brake pedal is no longer completely smooth when depressed. It makes a rubbery creaking sound, almost as if the pedal mechanism isn't oiled properly or something. I can also feel a bit of roughness in the action of the pedal when it does this. However, this does not affect the brake operation at all, it's simply a problem with the pedal feeling a little rough and creaking after the car's warmed up on a longer drive. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if I should take it into honda. The car has only about 650 miles on it.

I'd at least call them. There is no lube on the pedal shaft that I'm aware of. Funny it happens when the car is warmed up. You would think just the opposite.
