Hey guys, I have a 2015 Civic Si sedan. The front left wheel stud snapped off while i was removing the wheel. Is it possible to diy the replacement? I’ve seen and heard that on the 2015 models it can’t. Just wanna hear if anyone has done it or it has to be done by a shop.

Hi yes you can. You can order a stud separately and just push it in from the back. You will need an open ended lug to have it seated correctly. Then the wheel can be put on and then torqued again

I just did this job last week for a pair of lug studs on a 2003 Accord EX-L. Almost identical, except Honda designed the 2012-2015 Civic dust shield so it allows you to push the stud in from the back (like @jn2k108 says) without any dust shield "manipulation." Also, the Civic knuckle is designed to allow the same. Genius!

Had a spare open end lug bolt to seat the stud with my air impact gun ... but you can use a regular wrench and still get the same result.

So glad I did not have to pull the axle and hub for this.
