Hello all. One of the first mods I did to my 2021 ILX was to install a Borla axleback spec’d for the 9th Gen Civic. Close but not an exact fit.
Hangers fit perfectly but they had to be bent a little to center the tip at the bumper opening.
Flange had to be cut off and a new one welded on to bring the opening to 2.5” and align the hardware holes properly.
Finally I had a Magnaflow resonator welded in upstream to remove unwanted angry bees sounds at WOT. Sound is now sophisticated and DSG downshifts during braking sound amazing.
