9th gen vs 10th si

Hi there. Am most likely considering if I should trade in my 10th gen si for a 9th. The only thing is. How must cost does it take to get to 300. And also what are the limits of the motor specifically when boosted. Especially the transmission.

I believe I've read that the stock transmission can handle up to 400 to the wheels before you start really risking it. Seems like your desired number is ok. i'm sure others will chime in on how to get to 300. I haven't done any performance mods to my car yet.

Will mention that for the 10th gen the formula for 300hp is usually this:

Cai: $393
Downpipe + Front Pipe: $849
Upgraded intercooler:$330-$1000(can vary depending on manufacteurer.
Vargas Gc Turbo: $1,319-$1,530
Tune: $500
Clutch+ flywheel: $999(300 torque yeets the stock clutch)

So in total:$4,390
