if you are going to stick with the winter take-offs....look into a summer type tire. unless you drive alot (like myself). i put pirelli p7's on mine this spring. so far...been great tires. no, they aren't high performance summer tires, but i dont' track it nor drag it. i drive, have fun once in awhile on the twisty's and get caught in numerous thunderstorms once in awhile.

i thought about going with summer tires...but, i would probably get about one season out of them before needing to replace them.

I would rather get summer tires, but living in the mountains, where it can snow any month of the year, I think I would be better off with all season tires for spring-fall, and my snow tires for winter. Summer tires would probably be more fun though

Michelin Defenders are decent tires that are probably better than stock and have good treadwear. I personally get tires that put performance over treadwear. I run Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ which have a very high level of dry and wet weather grip. Where I live it rains alot so wet weather performance is paramount. Other tires worth considering which are more performance oriented are Continental DWS and BF Goodrich Comp2. If treadwear is important than I've heard Pirelli AS tires have good treadwear.

So any recommendations for tires anyone? I have looked at some on Tire Rack - All season standard and performance touring models. I looked at Michelin Defenders which seems to have a lot of good reviews. I would like a quiet tire, good tread wear, good wet or dry performance. Winter performance isn't that important, I have dedicated snow tires for winter. Brands that you trust? If I get tires I'll probably get 16's and then buy some Enkei Alloy wheels like the J10's or GT7's. View attachment 463721 View attachment 463729

^^ looks good man, clean looking. My "ocd" would change the centercap to honda lol..

Should have a couple pics to contribute to this thread after I get my tires. My lucky gf is gonna have my si wheels on her 8th gen sedan hehe
Thanks man. Agreed, my OCD is killing me slowly because of the center caps but I'm so lazy and busy to change them lol. I'll get around to it.

Can't wait to see your set up.

Went a different route. I know its not gonna please everyone but I like it. Still have to pick up my can of paint to match the centercaps. This is powdercoated

Here's a close pic, the color changes a lot depending on lighting. From dark purple to a bright almost pinkish color. Thanks guys, once I got time ill update with better quality photos with my dslr

I have 19 Accord HFP wheels, with 245/35R19 tires and I autodip them in gloss black. I am waiting on my powdercoating shop to re-open because of the hurricane, they told me 2 more weeks.
