I was at work and went to my 2015 Honda Civic at lunch and tried to start it. It took about 5 seconds of it turning to start, then afterwards, my car told me to check Emissions system, check VSA system, check Hill Start Assist System, and check TPMS system. Also, my steering wheel was stiff. I did turn it off and then restart it, but nothing changed besides the stiffness of my car. I drove it for about a mile to the store, and it drove just fine. Sounds the same too. No noises or anything funny with it.

any idea why this could be happening? It has about 84k miles and I bought it used @ 82k.

Hello! There's a general consensus that when you see your dashboard lighting up, it's a good idea to have your battery checked out. It seems that our cars like to act in odd ways when the battery is beginning to fail. That coupled with the fact that it took a little more time to turn over makes me thing the battery is on its way out. Go have it checked at a local parts store!
Thank you. I will have that done
