Another camera post - 2012 LX

Im looking to add a camera to a 2012 LX. Ive read through a few of the lengthy camera threads and I came across a youtube video that walks through the install of this camera:

I like that it is mostly plug n play except for connecting it to the back up lights. My question is does anyone have this camera or suggestions for a better camera? Im just a bit concerned on the reviews about this camera having some quality issues.

To be honest I would ask around and just see if any car audio shops do it. The only 1 near me did mine (I own the 12 LX as well) is called Simply Auto Sound Stereo Solutions. They had to order a stock camera I'm not sure how the wiring works but they did it and it works and looks exactly like an EX/EXL backup camera. Obviously you gotta pay for labor but it's worth it just because of how complicated the IMID wiring is. Roughly $4-500 total but again worth it if you want it to be in the IMID stock like the higher trim models have.

Just saying. DIY with any dash stuff can be frustrating and super complicated if you dont know what youre doing

Appreciate the insight. Ill check in with some shops and my post back here once I get a camera.
