Best i-Mid Wallpaper

Someone else on here had the idea of doing a prank one. I made one with a big caution symbol that says "PASSENGER CAPACITY EXCEEDED!". So far I'm 3 for 3 in getting people with it! Here it is:

Currently, I'm working on a pirate-themed "Blue Pearl" pin-up nose art style for my Civic sedan.
I'm a graphic designer and illustrator; I can work up something kustom if you'd like. I snagged the TIE fighter targeting computer one from the internet; it's uber geeky, but that's me.

ok...showing my age...but I put an image of the original Star Trek Enterprise, shooting blue phasers.....matches the dash lights!!
Nicely done! The Star Wars one is pretty cool! I guess I need to start thinking of something to put on mine. Lately it's just stayed on the iPod screen which is getting kind of old.
Take the picture you want to use (probably best if it were a .jpg) and put it on a flash drive. Then plug the flash drive into the USB port in the center console. Then I think all you have to do is just hit the Menu button on the steering wheel control and the setting should be in there somewhere.

Yep, that's pretty much it exactly. Images have to be in the root directory of the flash drive (not in a folder). Max image size is 1,920 x 936 pixels, and 2 Mb file size .jpg or .bmp (Owner's Manual, page 93).

Process: To make it as simple as possible, take an empty flash drive, and load up an image that you would like to set as your wallpaper.
Details: The image needs to be a JPEG or BMP file and the file size cannot exceed 2MB. Format the image to be 1920 x 936 pixels if you want it to fill the entire screen of the i-MID. If the image is not 1920 x 936, the wallpaper will have black space around the image depending on the shape.

ok so where do u stick the usb in 2? and is there certain colors i should avoid using as the back ground??
Omg Trimition! I had a great time with my wife with the image you supplied! I had her getting in and out of the car about 10 times. I told her hunny im sorry but you must be to heavy for the car lmao. Anyway when she started using the F word i ended the joke. Her and I had a great laugh! Btw im sleeping on the sofa tonight.

Look under your armrest and there should be a USB cable nicely placed in a small plastic clip, if you haven't used it previously.
Just plug it in and then on the i-MID, go through the display menus to upload your own image.
Your owner's manual should prove to be very helpful while going through this process. It gives you step by step instructions to follow.
As far as colors to avoid, I'm not soo sure. I didn't even take that into consideration when making mine.
