I’m trying to black out the chrome on my Civic.. Which way is easier to do, tinting them or plastic dipping?

I plasti dip the chrome it was pretty easy just spray on wait till dry and repeat 4-5 times it's surprisingly durable and easily removes if things don't turn out to your liking.

That's a good idea. There's something else for me to do. Need to get some painters tape now.

Ever dip your wheels? So many people say use a whole can per wheel. I did it once but it's been so long, I don't remember using a whole can per wheel.

If I remember correctly, I used less than 2 cans on 4 wheels, painting the fronts only.

I wouldn't put any kind of paint over pdip. They make a clear with the same chemical composition as their colored dip that is meant to be used one over the other.
