Can someone please provide documentation of the proper order to flush and bleed brakes on a 2014 civic lx?

There isn't a specific order for just for that car.

He starts from the rear, but I did it from the front driver's side then passenger side and then passenger side rear then drivers.

Start at the caliper that is further away from the Master Cylinder first. Right rear, left rear, right front, and left front.

There are different patterns for different vehicles, starting from the furthest wheel is usually a safe bet.
However in this case there is a set pattern:

Huh. I did do it the right way. The videos I've seen said it doesn't matter. Last one I remember seeing was starting with the driver side since it's right there and most of the old stuff would come out faster there.
