Hey, me and some of my car club are going to the Chicago Auto Show Feb 9th. We'll be there when the doors open. I do have a question though, how are the roads in and around where the show is? Now that my car is lowered im paranoid about roads. I remember a couple years back where the interstate after a bridge had a huge bump that would have ripped the oil pan clean off. If the roads/interstate are acceptable, is there anywhere I need to look out for?

Hey man. I drive right by McCormick place every day in my SI, as I work right by Navy Pier. I typically go North on Lakeshore though, unless I have to go to another site for my job. LSD was redone like 10 years ago, so its actually pretty nice still going southbound. Saw a lowered 8th gen Sedan getting off this morning and he was driving like he was not concerned. I would just be careful and possibly avoid the right lane as much as possible on LSD just as a precaution, as I know Northbound there is some rough stuff. I take 57 in which is a real smooth ride so I am not certain about the current condition of 55 (which I am assuming you are taking in). I'll be at the Autoshow the 8th at night! Can't wait

Yea, so has anyone else gone to the Chicago Show? I went up Saturday and I feel each and every time I go is more and more of a disappointment. I hadn't been in several years, but I know the last time I went 99% of the manufacturers had posters and key chains and all kinds of stuff to give out. This year Scion was the only ones with key chains, and Honda had nothing spectacular to show. Its supposed to show the new roll out cars right? I can go to my local dealer to see everything all the manufacturers had to present...
