lol...Talon...that explains it...I thought you knew what the Mugen RR was. I hear it has a bored out 2.0...someone correct me if I'm wrong and also has other internal engine mods, pushing around I hear 240-250 hp?
AH, yeah, it's 240 hp...and a tad lighter...also note their quote in US dollars is way wrong...that's when it was like 120 to the US dollar...now we're down to about 81 yen to the dollar...so that would make it around $58,330.73! :
The lowest I've seen is 17500 for one. I've also seen them trying to sell for 23K still...retarded. They came out in 2008, so I wouldn't pay more than 17000 for one, however, kbb shows them as 22K in excellent condition.
Yeah, sure... Mugen RR looks nice. But it will never make it to the U.S. And even in an unlikely event that it does and is introduced at an auto show for sale, all of it will be sold out within the first few seconds (but only because these are produced in ridiculously small numbers).
So why are we even talking about Mugen RR? For the amount of money spent procuring one of these (which you can't in the U.S.), you can easily buy a used Lotus Elise or Exige which can beat the pants off Mugen RR any day of the week.

I discovered a new (or maybe not so new) TV show on Motor Trend Network (see your local providers listings for your channel number) this week.
It's called JDM Legends, named after the shop where it's shot. In a nice turn from the usual automotive TV show, it shows tuneups and rebuilds of...
I thought it might be interesting to share lists of cars we have owned during our lives.
Here's mine and it spans several decades.
In order of ownership:
1971 Ford Pinto (at least it was a four speed. M/T)
1971 AMC Javelin SST (my only real muscle car. A/T. The 360 blew the doors off a few...
