I thought this was a pretty cool rat rod in the parking lot of the grocery store today. View attachment 360378

I have not seen that generation Durango on the roads for some time in Michigan. I thought rust got them all. Always liked the semi-truck fender look that Dodge came out with first. Hard to see with that 60 year old real truck parked in front of it.

Saw this parked outside the pizza place. Note the nose to curb precise parking. Now look at the bozos down the line. :shades:

Given the circumstances surrounding, the double parking is not only accepted but encouraged.

I love the 1970's Toyotas as much as the Hondas. They're like scale models of muscle cars. Like someone clicked the corner of a picture and "dragged" it diagonally.

The other day I merged onto the freeway, and a 2012 SOP was merging from the other direction into the lane next to me. We drove parallel for a couple of miles until he exited. That counts as a cool car, right?

Cool cars I've encountered with my ass in the drivers seat and that I've shot recently, S3 definitely on a list of possible replacements for my Si.

T-buckets have always been my favorite. My dad built one from the ground up many years ago. His was a chromed out show car. The below pic is more my style.
That's essentially perfect.

T-buckets were very big in the '60s. I used to draw them from existing drawings such as this.

My favorites had soft tops.
