I'm on HFP suspension designed for 12-13 Si Coupes but also fit 12-13 Si sedan won't fit 14-15 Si models without some modifications. Because you are getting 18inch wheels than 225/45/18 probably going to be a bit tall 225/40/18 probably a better fit on 18 wheel also if you plan to lower than 225/40/18 going to give you a little more room to play with.
Yeah i did check out some wheels comparison, 225/45 looks taller, might rubbing if lowered. If i go for 18x8 i would go for 225/40. But 17x8 also do look nice especially after lowered the car. But 18" will give some effect to fuel consumption right? If by little might not a problem for me.
HFP suspension by Honda? I wondering if Asian civic have different suspension setup or mounting with US civic? Let say if HFP need modification for Asian civic?

Yeah I think a bigger wheel adversely affects your MPG but in your case any difference will be negligible. HFP is OEM Honda Factory Performance suspension it was designed for 12-13 Si Coupes in Canada and USA but also was a direct fit for 12-13 Si Sedans. Not a direct fit for 14-15 Si Coupes or sedans as the size of the knuckle was changed for the 14-15 model year.
