Good afternoon, I am posting a video to see if you guys know what the problem might be.

A little background and explanation: I imported this car from US in 2019, since then it has the problem.

The problem only happens when in reverse, it used to be only when reversing steep hills it made the sound, I did not worry too much about and just tried not to put any stress when on reverse.

Now the problem also happens when cold starting If I were to put reverse without moving it will make the sound.

I obviously wait until car warms a little bit before moving, to me it looks like the belt is slipping, but what I don't know is why only in reverse.

I have change CVT fluid twice within 60k kms since 2019.

Please let me know if you have any idea or if it is just wear and belt is slipping, has been 3 years since and still car runs smooth with no other issues whatsoever

Have you scanned for codes with a Honda specific scanner?

with any transmission issues, you start off with 3x drain and fill with Genuine Honda fluid, then go from there.

it doesnt hurt to add a bottle of Lubeguard CVT Recharge as well.

This is your cheapest starting point.
I have not tried the Honda Scanner, I thought since there was no alert in dashboard there won’t be any codes. I will try.

The 3 drain and fills can be with the same 4 quarts or do I have buy 12 quarts and discard the old ones?

i will definitely buy lube guard, thanks! Does the sound appears to be slipping cvt?
