I just installed a DDM Tuning Hi and Lo Beam HID Kit on my '12 Si - worked flawlessly at first; low beams are amazing at 8000K. Hi beams worked well for 2 days and then only the right side lit up at 1/4 power. Installed relay harnesses and error code eliminators; I have the hi and low beams on together; when I put on the hi beams, the low beams stay on, too.

Possible questions - too much power draw to light up the high beams when the low beams are already on? I have the 35 watt ballasts installed on both hi and low beams. I heard somewhere that these DDM kits need 80 watts to power up the bulbs and then they reduce to 35 watts running?

Thanks in advance to anyone that knows what is going on with my ride.

They are not the best of quality Thats why they are so cheap

Contact the seller and let him know what happened then place info/claim accordingly to get another set, or have the issue resolved

Well if you have blown ballasts, then you may be looking at a substantial replacement cost :/

I've got some ddm hids from my 07 si, pluged them in the 2012 and they work just fine, no flicker or fade

I gave up on the DDM high beams; put in Phillips HIR 9011's - great light.

Nobody should use hids for high beams. They were not designed for it.

HIDs are so overated... ben rocking the same oem color 30$ slim digital ballast ebay kit for the last 3 years...and same goes for my 600 rr ....honestly unless its a oem kit all afteermarket are just that aftermarket...as far as the issue its really a toss up until u try another set...could have been a bad ballast or bad bulbs..who knows..until u try another set you wont know

I wsnt hating on there usefullness but on the fact that differences btw afermarket hids are miniscule....in terms of brightness, warmup time, realiability and durability...

I've never had any issues with all 3 sets of aftermarket Hids. Maybe I'm just lucky?

i donno! Not trying to start an argument, but like anything else, you get what you pay for as for DDM, sorry to say is among some of the worst quality available on the market, and the pricing reflects that directly.

Phillips makes some great top not quality HID's... but you need to pay for them

Well u started one !!!! Just kiddin..i dunno call me crazy but i jus wouldnt pay more then 30 dollars for hids.....can u telll me how your hids are btter than mine alienprime??

i had an horrible experience with ddm i only picked them because of their warranty and price got one defective ballast and wrong color bulbs let along your paying for shitty shipping a buddy of mine bought a xentec hid kit from ebay and it was 32$ free shipping he got it in two days and no issues and his hids look brighter and better then my shitty ddm tuning one i will never order from ddm tuning again i highly recomemd other brands let along they ship them in shitty boxes they dont wrap the ballast nor provide you with zip ties or any other things that would be convient with the lit

Those are the ones i have ...i jus dont understand why pay 80 or 120 or more when u can get em for 30 buks usa seller and shipped
