Greetings Civic Nation,

I have not made my purchase yet, but after a very rigorous and rather lengthy shopping process I'm firmly decided for the 2013 Civic and I will pull the trigger very soon.

I could use some assistance with how to "build" the first portion of the VIN number (I think it's called the "VDS" portion). I found a VIN decoder on the web, but I DON'T HAVE A VIN yet, so that's exactly the reverse of what I need. There must be a link, somewhere. Wikipedia has something like what I need, but unfortunately it's outdated as it only goes to 2006.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Update: I guess I may have used the wrong term. I accidentally came across a "model number" in a Honda ad that seems to describe what I'm looking for: FB2F7DKNX. Anyone here knows how to "decode" this model number? I'm actually looking for a Touring sedan in Dyno Blue Pearl, and I'm located in Ontario, Canada.
