I installed the High Power LED Festoons from College Hills Honda. On their site, it says it is not a genuine Honda part. So, will having these in void my warranty? I know this may belong in the College Hills Honda forum, but, since this a general question about voiding a warranty, I figured I could post this here. I know things like not doing routine maintenance at a Honda dealer can void a warranty if you don't keep proof of the work being done elsewhere, but what else will void it?

Should you begin to have electrical problems, you may run into warranty issues. Honda has been known to be very picky.
Hmm. They're just little LED bulbs for the overhead lights inside the car, so I may just keep the originals and change them out if I need to go in for a warranty repair (assuming it doesn't break in the street or something and I can't) Or I might just give them to my step dad for his car if it'll be a problem.

I doubt those bulbs would void the warranty, something that small shouldn't matter

It really depends. Some how, Honda, will make up excuses trying to end your warranty but they have to prove that it is truely the aftermarket part that caused the issue.

i would suggest keeping the stocks jsut to have a spare......but as for the warranty, they cannot void it unless they can prove without a doubt that the part you replaced was soley as fault for the problem you are having! i've spoken with many lawyers over the years about this and dealers love to try and deny warranty work. Let's say you put on a aftermarket intake......and then you start having transmission issue. Honda could not deny warranty work unless they can prove that your intake has a direct effect on the problem with the transmission.
