I think they're cool. Dropping 8lbs a wheel over stock. Gotta do good things to acceleration and handling.

Reviving this old thread instead of starting a new one. So...these wheels will fit a stock 2013 sedan si with 235x45 17 tires with no modifications needed? Someone let me know asap. Found some on craigslist and want to buy them but need to be sure. Otherwise I'm going to get some 17x8's but I'd rather have this wider wheel setup for beefier tires.

What size tires are you going to run with a 17x9 wheel?
245/40/17? (slightly bigger than stock)
235/40/17? (slightly smaller than stock)

Tire Size - Equivalent - Diameter
235/40R17 - 24.4x9.3R17 - 24.4"-0.8%
215/45R17 - 24.6x8.5R17 - 24.6"Equal
275/35R17 - 24.6x10.8R17 - 24.6"Equal
245/40R17 - 24.7x9.7R17 - 24.7"+0.4%

235/45/17 is going to be too big. That's 0.7" taller than stock. Also these are a pretty aggressive fitment. Might fit at stock height but will likely rub if you lower.

So I found some 17x8 40 rpf1's. Has anyone ever run these specific dimensions on our si's?

17x8 or 17x8.5? I don't see a +40 offset listed for the 17x8 on the enkei size chart. Either spec will work though. They will be the "bubble face" versus the more flat face on the wider version

If you have any drop at all, I suggest going with 40 instead of 45, whatever width.
